DEN ELFDE VAN DEN ELFDE

On November 11 - den elfde van den elfde - the traditional crowing of the Prince of Carnival is held in the township of Kerke. Hubert Geuning, a local pig farmer, has been the annual Prince of Carnival for over 35 years and during the weeks of the Carnaval celebrations the Prince rules the festive village which, for the occasion, is named Knorrendonk.

But this year things are not as usual...  When the doctor finds Hubert unfit for this year's celebration, the Council of Eleven decides there will be an election. Hubert wants the sceptor to stay in the family and proposes a competition between his children Frank and Yvonne. In preparation of the election they have to face family secrets and small town intrigues.

A series about love, pigs and singing out loud when the going gets tough.
